About Michelle

A native of Colorado, Michelle is a United States Dressage Federation Bronze and Silver Medalist with more than 40 years of riding experience.  She has competed successfully through the FEI Intermediate I level. Michelle's current competition horse is FÜRST HOHEIT, a 2018 Hanoverian gelding competing First Level. 

 

Michelle aspires to make horsemanship and Dressage approachable and understandable for everyone, with an emphasis on cooperation, confidence and safety built on a well-rounded equestrian education. Her clients become friends, and the horses in her care are cherished. Michelle trains regularly with USDF Gold Medalist Heather Kennedy.

Lessons & Training

Lessons are generous in time and expertise, offered in a friendly and welcoming environment.  Work on the basics, build confidence, and learn the dressage training scale.  Lessons and training are offered in Southern California at Phoenix Creek Farm in Vista, and at Serenity Equestrian Center in Poway. Have you dreamed of riding down the centerline at your first competition? How about earning those USDF medals? Shopping for your dream horse?  Need to sell your horse? Are you an Eventing rider looking to improve your dressage scores? Bring your dreams and we will work on them together.

Halona

Oldenburg mare by Blue Hors Hertug. National 3rd/4th level. Went on to become an FEI competition horse in Columbia. 

Troy

KWPN gelding by Cabochon. Prix St George/Intermediate I. Faithful, loyal schoolmaster who taught many students the FEI movements. Now enjoying a well-deserved retirement. 

Lined in Magic

American Warmblood gelding. Went on to a pursue an eventing career with an excellent junior rider in Colorado.
